Mad for Metallics – Fall Mani Inspiration

Staying true to our natural roots we typically go neutral and more often than not, bare with our nails in the summer months. But suddenly, without notice, Fall has inspired us to branch out and experiment with bursts of metallics!

If you’re eager for change too and if summer has done a number on your digits leaving you with cuticles that are peely and dry, try our ‘Mad for Metallic Mani’!

23K Gold Mad For Metallic Mani

Step 1: Make sure your nails are well-kept before starting any any further. Trim and file to your best suited nail shape or as we always say, leave that part to the pros!

Step 2: The morning of your mani, apply 23K Gold Argan Oil to dry cuticles. Massage gently. 23k Gold Argan has antibacterial properties to protect nails and will moisturize cuticles helping them lie down and better frame your manicure.

Step 3: Select your favorite metallic polish or foil nail wraps. We love Jamberry’s as a brilliant nail art option allowing us to stay away from harmful polish and paint chemicals. Plus, if you’re no Picasso when it comes to painting, nail wraps give a high art with a no art school required look.

For when we feel adventurous with the free hand, we love Zoya’s safe nail laquer line and Ginessa silver gives us the high shine we crave. Bonus Tip: Painting over even just one nail with your favorite metallic polish is a fun way to spruce up the 5 day old, otherwise ‘normal’ mani.

Step 4: DO NOT. We repeat, DO NOT touch that iPhone. We know it can be excruciatingly painful to sit back and do nothing waiting for nails to dry. Here’s where we start to think about what to wear with our new mani.

Step 5: Voila! Enjoy stunning, shiny, healthy manicured nails!

Step 6: Yes, you’re done for now. But repeat Step 2 right before bedtime. Your cuticles will benefit from the extra layer of moisture and protection.

We’re not the only ones mad for metallic. The Beauty Department has lost it over metallic lines drawn on with a… wait for it… sharpie pen!

Okay, show of hands, who’s going for gold this Fall?
